- Engineering
-
We provide our customers
with valuable castibility improvements and suggestions. As part of model
development we can manage Finite Element Analysis and solidification
modeling. When development is complete, Cunningham Pattern & Engineering can
transfer the solid model to the customer's system for review or updating.
- Pattern Making
-
The latest in CAD/CAM technology is utilized to produce a wide
range of production and developmental part pattern equipment. 3-D solid
models are used to add draft, partings, gating, and riser systems.
The pattern equipment is then machined via CNC mills in a variety of
materials including, tooling board, plastic, iron, aluminum and stainless
steel.
- Casting
-
Foundry capability for many ferrous and non-ferrous alloys in
highly cored complex parts provides the customer with total flexibility and
capability for developmental and low volume production requirements. Air set
molding system is adaptable for parts up to 2000 lbs. in ferrous alloys and
400 lbs. in non-ferrous alloys. The core system features air set, shell and
isocure core processes. Ferrous material analysis, on site storage,
destructive and non-destructive testing are also available.
- Machining
-
The machining business features a diversified range of CNC milling
and turning capabilities, specializing in the machining of low volume
complex castings. Experienced in machining most ferrous and nonferrous
materials, our machine shop compliments our other divisions allowing us to
provide our customers with "one stop shopping" for even the most demanding
design requirements. In addition to CAD/CAM processes, Cunningham LLC has
full quality documentation capability via CMM and other traditional
inspection techniques.
